Thought Provoking Questions

So a friend of mine blogged about a website today that asks thought provoking questions and as I was reading them, I thought it would be fun to ask myself a few of them and write them down. Ideally I would do one a day but I can't make that kind of commitment (who am I kidding....I rarely blog anymore). So, here is one of the questions from the website http://thoughtquestions.com

What's the closest you have come to having your 15 minutes of fame?
I love this question because secretly I want to be famous :-) I don't know if I could handle the lifestyle that comes with it but I think it would be fun. There are a few times in my life that I could say I have come close. When I was 21 I went to a Sugar Ray concert and got pulled out of the crowd to participate in the concert by Mark McGrath himself! It was awesome! Another guy got pulled out of the crowd and it was a sing off competition. For those of you who know me, you know I cannot sing to save my life BUT, I am ok with performing like I can. So, I had to sing Limp Bizkit's 'Rollin' and by the end of the song, the entire audience was chanting my name. I was a rock star for like 2 whole minutes! I ended up winning the sing off and got a t-shirt and a slap on the butt from Mark McGrath. It was sweet! People in the elevator after the show were asking to touch the shirt that I got.....weird.

Probably the other '15 minutes of fame' is in the lia sophia world. I earned a trip to NYC because of a contest that they offered to managers. I was the only one in the entire company who got to go so an article was posted about me on the Advisor website and then then interviewed me for our monthly publication for Advisors. That was pretty sweet and now lots of advisors around the country know my name because of that.

So, that's my stories about my 15 minutes of fame. Nothing too exciting but I do have to say, if I could experience fame for a day I'd be all about it :-) What about you?

No. I would not want to be famous. Even for one day. However, I definitely would not mind being rich!

I don't think I'd want to be famous either. If I was forced to be famous, you know the whole arm behind the back thing... I'd take full and complete advantage of the personal trainer and chef. Oh yeah. I'd love everything about that.

Maybe I'd like to be the famous voice over girl. In all the animated movies, ya know?
