Spending Tyler's birthday money

Tyler got quite a bit of cashola for his birthday this year and when we were trying to decide how to spend it, somehow we got on the topic of Build A Bear and Tyler decided we should go there. He got a Build A Bear last year and loved it. He loves his 'pets' as he calls them and sleeps with one every night so I was glad he chose this rather than going to Target and spending hours trying to find toys that will just get lost/broken/etc.

Watching his bear get stuffed. I loved seeing the look on Naiya's face in the background and her chubby legs sticking out of her stroller :-)

Putting the bear's heart on his head so the bear is smart like Tyler. Naiya can't wait to make her own bear, lol!
Giving the bear a bath. I have a picture on my phone of Tyler giving his bear a bath last year and he looks SO different! He has grown up so much this year!
Getting his bear dressed. He chose a baseball uniform for it.

End product. Tyler decided to name him Sam. Oh, and he spent every single cent that he got for his birthday....he even had to borrow like 50 cents from me. How much does a Build A Bear cost you ask? Way too much. The bear itself isn't expensive but it's all of the accessories. But, at least we don't have more toys lying around our house and Sam is sleeping with Tyler as I type this post :-)

Build A Bear is expensive! But what a great way to spend his birthday money.

Oh my goodness I can't believe how much he's becoming a boy...not a baby/toddler an actual BOY! I could tell big time from the picture of him on the plane, and even where he's washing the bear. All his baby fat is going away. Crazy! Getting so big.

And can I just say I love the serious concentration picture of Naiya in the Chuck E. Cheese post? It looks like she is focusing so hard on what she's doing.
